My name is Yossi López. I am currently a missionary at the Manantial de Vida (Spring of Life) Baptist Church in the community of Xiloá, Nicaragua. My sending church is El Calvario (Calvary) Baptist Church in Managua.
I currently support the medical field for all the members of the church who are low-income. I am a general practitioner, and thanks to God, two months ago I completed my postgraduate degree in ultrasound, which has been very helpful to the entire Xiloá community. Thanks to this, I have had the opportunity to perform ultrasounds on those members who need it and on people in the community who are not yet part of our church. This has helped me build relationships with our neighbors.
I am also a facilitator for the Anchor University Latin American platform for the Biblical Counseling course. We currently have seven students in Nicaragua, and it is a joy for me to serve the Lord by training others so they can serve in their local churches.
Prayer Requests:
To be able to connect more each day with the people in Xiloá, taking advantage of every opportunity in the community through medical consultations.
For the Biblical Counseling students, for their hearts, that they may strive daily to search the Word so that it may abound in their hearts and so that they can be mentored by their local churches to be perfected saints (Ephesians 4:12).
