Just as God has used internships for the growth of individuals and for the benefit of the local Church, He also uses the exchange of interns between churches for the spiritual development of leaders. During these last 6 months, Rubén López, from Nicaragua, carried out part of his ministry internship at Roca Viva Baptist Church located in the province of Cartago, Costa Rica. Rubén was able to observe and learn up close what pastoral ministry looks like as he learned from the pastors of Roca Viva. He is back in Nicaragua to continue the second half of his internship at Iglesia Bautista Manantial de Vida, a church located on the outskirts of Managua. Rubén will spend the next 6 months learning about strategic planning in church planting, as well as participating in discipleship and evangelism by building relationships in the community.

We are very thankful to God for making these intern exchanges between these two churches possible. We are excited to see the spiritual and ministerial development of all the interns involved over the months to come. Please pray for the intentional formation of these leaders and for what God has prepared for each of them in the future.
